Day 15... or... The night I went to the Bolshoi Ballet.
The Bolshoi Ballet is a Russian staple. You simply can't get tickets when they perform. It is always sold out. Some how, we got the hook up. Lucky us.
So everything is beautiful at the Bolshoi...? (I'm sorry, I just couldn't resist).
It's amusing to see how different cultures act at public functions (even here in NY...) And I can totally teach you my trademark "Do it and I'll end you" glare.
Wonderful to hear how your Russian is progressing! I am taking a Polish course via Rosetta Stone through the UAA Library - free! Poles and Russians can understand each other - but Poles do not use the Cyrllic alphabet. I remember my father talking to Russian visitors at a Soviet exhibit in San Francisco in the alte 70's!
Fascinating. But with a face like yours, a New York Death Stare isn't as threatening as you intend.
